The Community Foundation is an endowment fund for Volusia and Flagler Counties. The Foundation uses its interest earnings to fund one-time grants for capital projects, emergencies, and targeted needs.
With your help and the support of the Community Foundation of Volusia & Flagler, we will have the capacity to respond to constantly changing social and human service needs now and far into the future.
Since 1983, more than 50 true local philanthropists have established permanent, lasting gifts through the Community Foundation of Volusia & Flagler. Each contribution is unique, and some have utilized effective planning to make gifts through charitable bequests, life insurance, retirement plans, pooled income funds, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts.
