My name is Devin Hickman and I am in 5th grade at Champion Elementary. Math is my favorite subject since it is fun doing problems.
This is my second year I have been in KidsZone. We concentrate on learning about science and building robots. Food Brings Hope helps me learn and succeed even when things are hard because building robots and programming them is hard work. Sometimes we have problems and we have to work through those problems and not give up. When I grow up I want to be an engineer.
My favorite KidsZone field trip was to LEGOLAND last year. We had a good time even though it was raining. At LEGOLAND we got to go on rides.
If I could get any gift for Christmas, I would want more Lego's. I already have a lot of them, but I could always use more. If I could give a gift this year I would give a gift card to Starbucks to my friend Cheyanne who lives down the street from me. I have known her for a long time and know it's something she wants.
Food Brings Hope is the best. It provides me with challenges and also allows me to be around new friends.
