KidsZone helps Westside third-grader earn good grades in reading and math - Friday, November 29, 2024

My name is Madison Wester, and I am 9 years old. I go to Westside Elementary and I’m in the third grade. I’m in the KidsZone program.

At school, I like playing math learning games and discovering new strategies. They help me learn and get better at multiplication. In KidsZone, I practice reading and math, and it helps me get good grades. I like to show kindness by being helpful to my teacher and classmates.

My favorite superhero is Wonder Woman. She is beautiful, fast and helpful. My favorite book is "The Princess and the Frog," but I like lots of books. I read all the time! I also like soccer and enjoy watching my brother play. When I grow up, I would like to be a vet because I love animals and can help them as a vet.

My family celebrates the holidays by going shopping and buying a Christmas tree. We decorate the tree with a box of ornaments. Some of the ornaments are homemade that were given to us, and the rest belong to family members. Our angel that sits on top of the tree is special because it belonged to our first family member. This holiday season, I would like some Barbie dolls and clothes for My Life Doll. I would also like some new clothes. I wear girl's size 7-8 or 10-12. I really like art, so maybe some art supplies, too.
