My name is Donovan Polo and I am 9 years old. I am in the fourth grade at Westside Elementary School. I am currently a part of the FBHonors program. My older sister was also a part of this program, and I am so grateful to get to experience the same opportunities that she was able to experience.
My favorite part of school is when we go into math because I love multiplication. I am known at school as someone who is very respectful not only to teachers but to the other students around me. I always try to listen and look at them when they are speaking, so they know I care about what they have to say.
Whenever I’m not in school I like watching the "Spider-Man" movie, who also happens to be my favorite superhero. I would love to swing and fly in the air like he does!
But while I am in school, we do exciting science experiments with Ms. Burnett. These help me for the future because I want to be a scientist. I love investigating different topics and doing hands-on activities.
Since Christmas is coming, I wish for an Oculus set. I love virtual reality! I am so excited to celebrate Christmas by throwing a party and playing my favorite game with all my cousins!
