FBHonors student loves to read and dreams of becoming an author - Saturday, November 25, 2023

My name is Aniyah Rosas, and I am 13 years old. I currently attend Galaxy Middle School and I am in eighth grade. I attend Food Brings Hope’s FBHonors and TeenZone programs.

During COVID-19, I was homeschooled for one year and I had to write an essay every week, so returning to a public school made me appreciate not having to write so many of them. I show kindness to my teachers and other students by showing respect and striving to be always cordial to everyone.

At the moment, I do not have a favorite superhero, princess or character. My favorite books are "Warrior Cats," "Wings of Fire," "Hunger Games" and "The Things we Cannot Say." A fun thing we get to do at Food Brings Hope’s program is going on field trips and learning new things. When I get older, I would like to become an author.

This holiday season a few things I would like are the latest iPhone (it sounds really nice), an art tablet that comes with a pen and glove(s), or a laptop (Inspiron 16 or the latest HP). There’s nothing else really set in my mind. The school subject that I like to learn about most this year is history. I am not into sports or playing games, my favorite hobby is writing. My family celebrates the holidays by spending time together and eating food cooked perfectly by my loving mother.
