Change the Code student dreams of becoming OBGYN Wednesday, December 4, 2024

My name is Ruby Lowe, and I am in sixth grade at Campbell Middle School. I aspire to become a doctor, specifically an OBGYN, because I have a passion for helping others, especially when it comes to bringing new life into the world. I find joy in working with babies and supporting families.

In my free time, I love listening to music on my AirPods, although I need to get a new pair since my old ones broke. Music helps me relax and focus while I study. I also enjoy math; it challenges me, and I find it rewarding to solve problems.

One of my favorite places to eat is McDonald's. It’s a little treat I enjoy after a long week of studying and working hard in school.

I appreciate Mrs. Kent’s Change the Code class; she makes learning engaging, even when the material gets tough. I strive to maintain good grades, and although it can be challenging, I study diligently and am determined to keep pushing myself.

I am also interested in taking business classes because the skills I learn there will be valuable for my future, whether I decide to pursue a career as a doctor or explore other opportunities. My goal is to attend a great college that will prepare me for medical school and provide me with the knowledge I need to succeed in my dream career. I’m excited about the future and the possibilities that lie ahead!

I'm looking forward to the holiday season so I can spend time with my family. My mom emphasizes the importance of education to me and my siblings because she wants us to be successful in life. This year, I have asked my mom for some new AirPods and gift cards to buy clothes.
