Bunnell fourth-grader dreams of becoming a veterinarian - Monday, December 11, 2023

My name is Alexis Shtern, and I am 9 years old. I go to Bunnell Elementary School and I’m in fourth grade. I am in the FBHonors program. What I love the most about FBHonors is the chance to be creative. We always work on projects that allow me to show my creativity! One example is making paper rollercoasters.

The thing I like most about school is hanging out with my friends and doing projects. In school, my favorite subject is math because it can help in the real world. My favorite sports are basketball and soccer. Both are very fun for me.

I like to share that I spread kindness to teachers and other students. One way I like to show kindness to teachers is to pay attention when they are teaching and listen to them the first time when they tell us something. Another way I like to spread kindness is to students. I try to help them if I can and include them as much as I can.

My favorite superhero is Spider-Man because I always would love to swing from buildings and hang from up high. My favorite book is Hank Zipzer: "Niagara Falls, or Does It?" By Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver and my favorite movie is "Goosebumps."

I'd like to be a veterinarian when I grow up and cure animals because I love animals. My family celebrates holidays like most other families. This holiday season, I would really like a dog. In addition, I am asking Santa for art supplies, clothes size XL or 14-16, sneakers (Nike or Skechers) size 2 ½ or 3, Connect Four Shots Game, Kerplunk Game, a PS5, earrings and headphones.
