My name is Kennedi Ryan and I am a third-grade student at Westside Elementary School. I am 8 years old and a member of Food Brings Hope’s KidsZone. In KidsZone, we focus on math and reading. But, on Fridays, we get to color, watch movies and do arts and crafts. I often give my work to my teacher, and she loves them.
At school, I love learning math and reading, but math is my favorite subject because I find it is easier. I get a chance to show kindness at school by helping my friends when they need help, especially in math and I help my teacher by listening. When we do a good job, we get tickets. Today, I received three tickets because I helped clean up.
Also, I am a member of the band and I find it very interesting. I love performing because it teaches me a lot. I have been playing the trumpet for two years.
My favorite character is Red Panda and I enjoy watching the movie "Encanto." For reading, my favorite books are "Dork Diaries" and the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." They are interesting and they teach me fun facts.
When I get older, I would like to work with my mother by helping customers.
For the holidays, we decorate and spend time together. I enjoy seeing my family that I usually do not get to see. I would like to get a bean bag and desk to do my homework. I would like to spend Christmas break in Atlanta with more of my family. I would also like to decorate my room with blue and pink LED lights and to have wall posters of Sonic and Paw Patrol.
